Craps is considered to be one of the most popular games of chance. Craps is considered to be a game of chance because the outcome of the game will depend on the dice roll.

There are a lot of tips that craps players can learn from but there is not guarantee that these strategies will work for the player. Aside from the different tips, one of the things that players should learn the different terms that is used in the game.

Knowing these terms is essential because players cannot play well if they lack this knowledge about craps. Some of the terms that can be are used in the game are 1st, advantage.

The advantage of the house over the player in a specific wager. 2nd, Any Seven. It is a type of craps wager that the outcome of the next dice roll is seven.

3rd, Big Eight. It is a wager that the next result of the dice roll is eight before the seven appears.

4th, Boxman. It is the casino employee that runs the game and secures the craps chips. 5th, Come-out roll. It is the first roll of the dice in every round during the game. 6th, Craps out.

The total of the dice in the initial roll that has a total of 2, 3 and 12. 7th, Dealer. It is the casino employee that is beside the boxman and collects the bets and pays the winners. 8th, the Do Not Pass Wager.

It is a type of wager that loses if the result of the initial roll is seven or eleven. 9th, Hot roll. When a craps shooter plays and rolls the dice successively without getting a 7. 10th, Layout.

A place in the craps table where players can place their wagers. 11th, Little Joe. When the result of the dice roll is a 2/2. 11th, Midnight. A wager made by the player that the result of the next dice roll is 12.

12th, Natural, the total of the dice in a come out roll that is seven or eleven. 13th, odds wager. It is an additional wager that is made together with other wagers like the Pass and the Do Not Pass Line wagers.

14th, One-roll wagers. This type of wager is decided on the next throw of the dice. 15th, pay-off. This happens when the player gets their winnings from the casino. 16th, pass line wager.

This is a type of wager that wins if the result of the initial roll is seven or eleven. 17th, point. The total of the dice in the initial roll that is four, five, six, eight and ten. 18th, rails.

It is an area at the table where chips that are not yet in used are placed. 19th, shooter. It is the person that throws the dice and last but not the least, the stickman.
